EL PASO, TEXAS – On Thursday, March 7, 2013, Representative Susie Byrd will host a community meeting to introduce the Mayoral and District 2 candidates. The candidates will discuss their platforms and distribute their campaign literature and will be available to answer questions from the public.
Among the candidates is Newmanista, Jim Tolbert, co-founder of the Newman Park Neighborhood Association, Board member since 2007, current Secretary, immediate past-President, writer and editor of ¡Hola Vecinos!©, the official weekly newsletter of Newman Park since July 24, 2007.
